The room features modern decor with necessary amenities like a fridge for drinks, an iPod dock, and a kettle for coffee. Breakfast offers a wide selection prepared fresh, which elevates the morning experience.
The private bathroom being across the hall can be inconvenient, especially at night when a quick trip is needed. Some rooms may feel smaller than expected for longer stays, which could be a bit cramped if you're planning to unpack. The lack of elevator access could be a hassle for those who have heavy luggage or mobility issues. The Wi-Fi signal can occasionally drop in certain areas, leaving you disconnected when you need it most.

We had such a lovely stay with a spacious room that had a powerful shower and a huge comfy bed. The beautiful garden offered a great spot to relax, and we loved the delicious and plentiful breakfast each morning. The only small downside was the Wi-Fi being a bit slow, but honestly, who needs that with such a lovely atmosphere? 😊

The breakfast service starts at 08:30, which can be tight if you've got an early start for those long treks. Parking could be a bit more organized. The spacious area is nice, but figuring out a good spot can feel like playing a game of Tetris. If you’re a night owl, the close proximity to the town can make for a bit of noise during late hours.

Exceptional service from the host made our early start seamless, as we were offered a cooked breakfast at 0715, well before the usual time. The room was spotless and the dining area maintained a high standard. Breakfasts throughout our stay were cooked perfectly, and the addition of fresh croissants was a delightful touch. Just a note, the late check-in process, although communicated, could be smoother for arrival details.

We had a superior king size room that was spacious and beautifully presented. The bed was super comfy with nice bedding, and we appreciated the fridge and tea/coffee facilities too. The bathroom had a great shower and came stocked with shower gels. Just a tiny thing—the bathroom fan was a bit loud. it really felt like a cozy retreat.

Definitely recommend it for solo travelers looking for a cozy spot
The breakfast was astonishingly good, especially the Full English with poached eggs, perfectly cooked. I also appreciated the warm welcome from the owners who even helped me book a taxi to the station.
It wasn’t cheap, but still tolerable.
